this client wanted them and I think they look pretty cool.. this piece is "African Mahogany" stained with Min-wax®  red mahogany..

Yep..! it's easy... all you need is a "Big Ash" board...
Then just cut off everything that doesn't look like a pedestal table...  
The hardest part was the finish...
A kinda white-ish pickled look with a top coat of urathane...A youth chair for when they don't need a highchair 
or booster seat.Bear chairs...(child's rocker)
